Web Telephone Orders
A customer sees a significant volume of sales go through a number of websites. They identified a problem in that some customers preferred to telephone their orders through and their sales staff wanted a different view of the order process to allow discounts or free product to be added while keeping an eye on the overall order profitability.
The solution was to develop a web application that paralleled the website in stock codes but was focused on item line entry with options to discount or zero cost and also to monitor order profitability. A payment portal was also incorporated to allow secure customer-not-present credit card processing.
The Paradise website has real-time links to Sage 200 and so displays real-time stock information as well as posting the orders directly into the order processing system.
The system is in use today and is established on Paradise private cloud servers along with the customers Sage 200 and other IT resources.
