What will you learn on this course?

By the end of this course delegates will have gained skills in how to create templates build forms using form fields, mail merge and record macros to automate tasks.


Course Content

Module One - Mail merge:

Creating a mail merge, query and sort options, producing labels

Module Two – Outlining:

Working with heading styles, demoting and promoting styles, expanding and collapsing text

Module Three - Working with large document:

Master documents, subdocuments, table of contents

Module Four - Track changes:

Applying track changes, Accepting and rejecting changes

Module Five - Templates and forms:

Creating templates, working with forms and fields, protecting documents

Module Six - References:

Using bookmarks, Footnotes and end notes

Module Seven - Specialised content:

Import and Link Excel data

Module Eight - Advanced Find & Replace:

Find and replace with formats, special characters and non-printing elements

Module Nine - Macros:

Recording and storing macros, Playing and adding macros to buttons
