Case Studies
Paradise have successfully run Hosted Sage 200 systems since 2004. Please take a moment to examine our case studies:
Big Organisation, Outsourced Solution
Partnerships In Care (PiC) is the largest provider of medium secure mental health facilities to the NHS in the UK. The company has used a Paradise hosted Sage system since 2005.
Spread across 22 sites around the country, PiC have over 2,000 computer users, and more than 70 use Sage 200. The company faced a unique challenge in wanting to consolidate and integrate accounting requirements between their many residential units, and looked to Paradise to provide this flexibility by providing a fully hosted platform for users at all levels.
As well as Sage 200, Paradise provide Exchange Email for all users, based on a clustered server which also support 100+ Blackberry users. Additional hosted applications include:
- Microsoft Office
- Wealden HR-Works personnel
- Asset Management
- iSynergy document management
- Sorce intranet
- PGP end-point perimeter control
- WebSense web access control
- Act!
PiC has also made extensive use of Paradise development to design and implement customised systems to provide management reporting, patient billing, incident reporting and Purchase Order authorisation.
During 2010 PiC is to benefit further from flexibility and stability of the hosted systems by rolling out a fully-featured n Electronic Patient Record system.
Medium Company, High Flexibility

Freeman Automotive manufacture and supply brake pads under the brand name EBC. Migrating from Multisoft in 2009, EBC wanted a responsive and flexible supplier to address their changing needs and provide opportunities to modernise their operation.
Paradise provided a hosted Sage 200 solution to address the core business needs for the 15 users based at Northampton, augmented by the addition of Sage 200 Manufacturing to allow centralised control of the manufacturing processes. In addition, EBC moved their Microsoft Office processing and email to the hosted system using Exchange.
In 2010 the system was enhanced by adding INVU document management and an integrated web shop to provide on-line ordering directly into Sage 200. This web shop was developed and deployed on the hosted system by Paradise to interact directly with the stock control and Sales Order system within Sage 200, providing an efficient and capable integrated solution.
Small Company, Low Cost
WDScott has a rich history in the Australian, European, Asian and US market places. Founded in 1938 by Sir Walter Scott, WDScott grew to be Australia’s largest international management consulting firm. It developed a reputation with Clients for integrity, excellence, innovation and results through the use of its structured and well-tested Intellectual Property (IP) and knowledge suite.
In June 2008 the London office of WD Scott approached Paradise with a requirement for a small (2-user) Sage 200 installation, and were pleased at the low cost to achieve this, with a modest set up fee and hosting at £100 per month for the two users, including Sage 200 support. In the time that the system has been active it has been highly available, with only two connection issues in the first 8 months of operation. The Paradise Helpdesk response has also resolved Sage 200 problems on a same-day basis consistently throughout the contract. WD Scott are an excellent example of a small-scale Sage Hosting project that yields high benefit for low cost.
