April 2009: Paradise qualify as a Sage BOM reseller
Paradise are now able to offer the Sage 200 Bill of Materials module to compliment the Sage 200 range of accounting products.
April 2008: 3 year hosting contract awarded by major mental health care organisation
This April, Partnerships In Care; the UK’s leading provider of medium-secure mental health care, confirmed their satisfaction with Paradise providing centralised hosting facilities to their 20 hospital units based all over the UK. With a new three-year contract to commence in May 2008 there is a solid foundation on which to expand and enhance the facilities provided by Paradise’s hosting centre in Althorp.
In addition to Hosting, Paradise also develop and support the organisations sophisticated intranet – PartnerNet, their clustered Exchange email system and their Sage based accounting systems.
March 2008: Paradise accepted as Northamptonshire’s first MCAS centre
Microsofts new MCAS (Microsoft Business Certification credential) recognises the business skills needed to get the most out of the improved features and functionality of the 2007 Microsoft Office system. Paradise proudly launched its Sage Hosting product this week when it attended the prestigious Sage Visions Conference. This product provides customers with the capability to access their Sage software and files from anywhere in the world. November 2007: Paradise are making headlines
Having celebrated their 20th anniversary last month, Paradise Computing is launching a new and exciting service: Sage Hosting will allow Sage software (and any other software) to be accessed securely using the Internet. The new service is well timed, with Microsoft announcing their “Software and Services” initiative at the World-wide Partner Conference this July.
Paradise staff at the conference were excited that Microsoft recognised that the future of computing will involve Hosted applications and services.

September 2007: Paradise to launch Hosting Sage on 1st November 2007
Paradise will be adding a new and unique service to its impressive range of Sage solutions and services by providing a secure environment inside an ISO27001 security envelope. Our customers Sage products can be installed here and accessed from anywhere on the internet, with the reassurance of the data being more secure than it would be on their own systems. This launch will attract both Customers and Sage Business Partners.

September 2007: Commissioning our first Microsoft 2008 Enterprise Servers
Paradise has commissioned Microsoft Windows 2008 onto new Dell PowerEdge 1950 units.

Following several staff passing the required examinations and the company fulfilling the criteria set down, Paradise qualified as a Microsoft Small Business Specialist in March.
This prestigious accolade recognises the skills Paradise has to deliver Small Business Server to small companies or remote locations in larger organisations. The Microsoft product has recently won a number of awards in it’s revised form as “SBS R2” and has established itself even more firmly as the most popular route by which small groups of computers are networked to give the advantages of a server based network with centralised file storage, printing and email.
Paradise is developing a business unit to deliver this product as a new service aimed at the smaller business during 2007.

Paradise's committment to leading edge business practice and technologies led to Microsoft awarding the company the prestigious 'Gold Partnership' certification. This is a remarkable achievement for a company the size of Paradise, and is a reflection of the dedication, ability and professionalism of the staff. The benefits for Paradise customers include access to Microsoft technical support, training licensing and consultative resources.
June 2006: ISO 27001
After a focused project commencing in July 2005, Paradise attempted and achieved the ISO 27001 data security standard. Although aimed predominantly at larger data centres and corporate organisations, Paradise proved that with enthusiasm and determination this standard can be earned by smaller companies as well. The audits were carried out throughout the spring by BSI and Paradise passed each stage on the first attempt – a credit to the company and the staff working there. Paradise is now officially recognised as a safe-pair-of-hands for data hosting.
